Just completed: Cook Museum registration desk faq
A few details about the project & our precious collection of unique local slabs
We milled a few super thick timbers from approx 10 years ago from local walnut logs
The huge 6” thick, 5” deep walnut timbers follow a 16' radius.
These precious walnut timbers were aged for 6 years prior to a month in the kiln.
The top live edge slab (in pic to right) is a privacy screen.
Cook Museum of Natural History opened this in June.
